Goshen's Downtown, Small, Quaint and Alive

Goshen is the place to go.  They are making a concentrated effort to improve and attract people, especially families, to downtown, and it's working.  Downtown Goshen has something to offer everyone.  Whether it's stopping in at one of the cafes for lunch or visiting one of the restaurants for dinner, you won't be disappointed.  Then there's the shopping.  You can find clothes, candy, tools, and treats for your pet.  The list goes on and on.  Not to mention the art and culture you experience on every corner.  There is something for everyone.  If the amount of people found spending time in the downtown area is an indicator of the area's success, then it would be fair to say that Goshen has been successful in its revitalization.  They worked together to focus on improving the quality of the downtown area in the hopes that people would choose to return to the once vibrant county seat.  Goshen has provided an excellent model for other cities to follow.  In this busy world of fast food and big business, nothing feels as good as coming home to local businesses that cater to their customers who are also their neighbors.  And nothing says thank you better then supporting those local businesses that have placed their hopes and dreams into the heart of their community.
